Lake Cumberland Poker Run 2019 Dates
Due to the recent spike in Coronavirus cases, the State of Kentucky has rolled back gatherings to less than 10 people and requires facemasks in public areas. After several planning sessions and feedback from the State of Kentucky regarding groups of 10 or more, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s annual Poker Run held at State Dock Marina.
We look forward to this event each year as it is the highlight and culmination of our season. The event has grown over the years and is now one of the premier events on Lake Cumberland.
Many of you have reservations with us this year and we hope that you will still enjoy the lake and a vacation away from the daily grind with us at State Dock. Understanding some only stay for the Run, we will accommodate those with cancellations as soon as possible.
The staff will be reaching out to sponsors, reservations, and participants to assist in confirming, rescheduling, or canceling your trip. Again, we hope to see you for a fun Holiday Weekend albeit, in compliance with the State CDC’s requirements for social distancing.

This year’s Thunder Run on Lake Cumberland will be hosted by State Dock. Based on recent feedback from our local health department, we are not going to be able to host this year’s Thunder Run, during the original dates. Emerald Coast Powerboat Week Poker Run – Episode 5 December 11, 2020 Powerboat teams from all over the U.S. Continued to navigate the 120-mile poker run course from Sandestin to Pensacola Beach, as part of the Emerald. He added that this is the first such fatality at a Lake Cumberland Poker Run event. The accident occurred at around 10:30 a.m. And is being investigated by Kentucky Wildlife officials. Annual Lake Cumberland 5 Miler/5K/1 Mile Fun Run – Monticello-Wayne Co. Memorial Park, Park Rd. 1, Monticello, KY, 7am. 37th Annual Lake Cumberland 5 Miler, 5K and 1 mile fun run. This Labor Day weekend bring out the whole family and run your first 5K, set a new PR or just enjoy a beautiful morning in Monticello.Fun Run will begin at 7:45 am with the 5 miler and 5k immediately following.
